2011

A New Year and almost 2 whole years without posting. I recently read a friend's blog and decided I wanted to get back into the swing of blogging. With facebook being right at my fingertips from my phone, I just stopped blogging. But I will figure out how to attach my blog to my facebook. I decided to change the title of the blog since Brett is offically a Internal Medicine Resident @ UMC. YEY! And I wanted something a little bit more catchy, and since I will probably never be an offical "housewife", Brett does do House Medicine during his rotations. So I guess that is as close as I will get. But new design and pictures to come.

o Daddy putting the lights on the tree
So I know it has been a while, we have been sooo busy with the holidays. But here are few pics of us putting up the Christmas tree. We won't have any from Christmas because our camera is broken. It might be a while before we get the other pictures up. Here is what we have so far.

Carving Pumpkins

All of our Carved Pumpkins
His Nana came by to see what he had done
Colston not wanting to take a pictures
Us with the Dad, Mom, and Baby pumpkins :O)
So in Rankin County this year we celebrated Halloween on the 30th. I think so it wouldn't conflict with the High school football games. So Wednesday before Halloween we carved pumpkins. I think this will be a tradition for Colston. The first year Po, Brett, and Colston did it the day of Halloween. This year Brett, me, and Colston did it. I think Brett and I were more interested in it than Colston. :o)

Fall Festival @ our Church

Two of the CUTEST Pirates I have ever seen!
The whole outfit
They were both Pirates :O)
Before we left to go
We had our Fall Festival about two weeks ago. Colston was just getting over a stomach bug and sinus infection. So he wasn't completely himself. He did have fun once we went into the "bubble room", it was just a room with bubble machines going. Him and Mae Mae (Mason) had a ton of fun. They are so cute when the see each other they always hug each other. Mason says "Cole-Kin" and Colston says "Mae Mae". It is so sweet.

Colston has been to the pumpkin patch twice this year. He went about two weeks ago with Nana, Papa, Mo, Po, Aunt Tina, and cousin Mason. Brett and I were not able to go the first time so we decided we would take him. Meme and Uncle Ronnie went with us too. He thought he was such a pro since this was his second time to go. :O)

Big Boy Bed

s I just liked this picture he is ridding his "yion" as he says it :O)
He is saying his prayers
We asked him to show us how he sleeps in his big boy bed

So it is time for Colston to move into his "big boy" bed. We are using his bed from Nana and Papa's house until ours gets here. We ordered one we liked off line. It should be here Wednesday, we are very excited. We looked long and hard for the bed, we are going to have it painted to match his toy box. :O)

For my dad

Colston and his Uncle Alec :O)

As my dad would say his "softball team"

These are from this summer and I never got a chance to email these, so here ya go! Also let me just add that it is funny how Brett is an only child so having sibblings takes on a all new meaning for him. :O)
