Carving Pumpkins

All of our Carved Pumpkins
His Nana came by to see what he had done
Colston not wanting to take a pictures
Us with the Dad, Mom, and Baby pumpkins :O)
So in Rankin County this year we celebrated Halloween on the 30th. I think so it wouldn't conflict with the High school football games. So Wednesday before Halloween we carved pumpkins. I think this will be a tradition for Colston. The first year Po, Brett, and Colston did it the day of Halloween. This year Brett, me, and Colston did it. I think Brett and I were more interested in it than Colston. :o)

Fall Festival @ our Church

Two of the CUTEST Pirates I have ever seen!
The whole outfit
They were both Pirates :O)
Before we left to go
We had our Fall Festival about two weeks ago. Colston was just getting over a stomach bug and sinus infection. So he wasn't completely himself. He did have fun once we went into the "bubble room", it was just a room with bubble machines going. Him and Mae Mae (Mason) had a ton of fun. They are so cute when the see each other they always hug each other. Mason says "Cole-Kin" and Colston says "Mae Mae". It is so sweet.

Colston has been to the pumpkin patch twice this year. He went about two weeks ago with Nana, Papa, Mo, Po, Aunt Tina, and cousin Mason. Brett and I were not able to go the first time so we decided we would take him. Meme and Uncle Ronnie went with us too. He thought he was such a pro since this was his second time to go. :O)

Big Boy Bed

s I just liked this picture he is ridding his "yion" as he says it :O)
He is saying his prayers
We asked him to show us how he sleeps in his big boy bed

So it is time for Colston to move into his "big boy" bed. We are using his bed from Nana and Papa's house until ours gets here. We ordered one we liked off line. It should be here Wednesday, we are very excited. We looked long and hard for the bed, we are going to have it painted to match his toy box. :O)

For my dad

Colston and his Uncle Alec :O)

As my dad would say his "softball team"

These are from this summer and I never got a chance to email these, so here ya go! Also let me just add that it is funny how Brett is an only child so having sibblings takes on a all new meaning for him. :O)

Monday: Colston's 1st time for the Mississippi Fair

His prize he picked
Playing the duck game

This on was kinda scary

Daddy and Colston on his 1st ride
So tonight we took Colston to the fair for the 1st time. First let me just say that I am scared of any and all rides, but I had to face some of my fears. But when I couldn't Brett was there to the rescue. Some of the kid rides they still wouldn't let Colston on even if one of us got on with him. But he still had a blast.

Saturday: Colston's Art Show

Me and Brett with our little artist.
These are some little girls in Colston's Class
One of Colston's Masterpieces
This one is my favorite!
This is the invitation he painted for the art show
Here he is before his big show
Saturday Colston had his 1st art show. It was at Cups and he had two of his own paintings in the show. The show was at 2 and go figure that is his nap time. And he was in need of a nap that afternoon. Brett asked him when we got there, "Colston are you going to be a good baby or bad baby?" and Colston's response...."Bad Baby" and he didn't let us down on that answer. :O)

Art Lessons

Here are some pictures of Colston at his art lessons. He goes once week, and it is the cutest thing, I ask him what he does at art lessons and he says "paint" and I ask him what he paints and he says, "dot, dot, dot" he likes to paint dots on everything. :O) And his favorite color is orange, which when he says it, it comes out sounding like "oange". :O)

Weekend

So this weekend wasn't too exciting. Colston has been sick with sinus problems. Millie, his great grandmother that keeps him is out of town so Monday I get to spend the day with him. I have a doctor's appointment that he will be attending with me, I am hoping that goes well. If we get out in time we are going to attend story time at the Brandon Library. I am hopefully going to get pictures posted as soon as Brett downloads them to the computer.

New Blogger

So this is my first time to blog. I have been using a lot of the blogs lately from getting frames to ordering stationary for my son Colston. And I decided this is a better way for me to keep in touch than facebook and myspace. I feel I am getting a little old for those sites. :O)
